You've been around the BW scene for a while,
I gather?
iG.DeacoM:Yeah
sure i started out playing sc in 98 with friends...

a while, then :) when did
you come up with the idea for WCL? - And, is
it called WCT, or WCL, or both?
iG.DeacoM:
when .... it all started out when i got admin
for the danish website www.broodwar.dk ^^ I
wanted to make some fun stuff to the site around
the bw comunity on the gosu sceen. And there
haved been a big tournament in a while on the
top levels... so i just started the tournament
i guees ^^=] used 2 weeks on it before launch
^^. It's WCT.

okay... as far as I know,
and no offense intended, your name isn't really
"out there" - why did a flock of players of
the high quality we see come to your doorstep?
iG.DeacoM:
well well.... If you do you work hard it always
be a big succes i think. But i already knew
many ppl at the high level sceen^^And i have
been the Danish National team leader sence it/i
started, belive i got my skills from there...
key words hardwork^^ and got art stupid =]

I see, I see. Are you planning to run another
WCT thing when this finishes?
iG.DeacoM:
the only plans i got is a big knokout tournament
played over 1 day ^^ and some danish live tours
with sponsores... Maybe next year i will make
one more if im still in the game =]

Cool, personally I'd love to see you host these
kind of high-quality tournaments full-time.

It was hard in the start belive me....... send
over 600 pms on 2 weeks ^^

So, the current WCT is now in the finals, Testie
vs Mondragon. Are you satisfied with the way
things turned out, all in all? Any particural
itches you would like scratched?
iG.DeacoM:
All in all every ppl did a great job! Specialy
Mondi and Testie! The only real problem was
the show ups some times... specialy in the start
^^ ppl diden knew so much about the time-zones.
So i worked extra hard in round 2 to inform
every player better about the times!!! SuKeR

Born)Slippy Yeah, Suker has a long history of
showing up twenty minutes-one hour too late,
from what I've gathered, hehe. He's such a pretty
boy though, so how can we hold it against him?
Back to the interview - any games/replays you
would particulary recommend?
iG.DeacoM:
mondi vs zelotito had some awsome games! satanik
vs twisted first game ''awsome'' satanik is
a true star at build orders. Testie vs anon
2nd game ''amazing come back'' many order good
games don't remember them all man!!.

hehe, yeah, there's a LOT of games played so
I forgive you for forgetting :)
